Frequently Asked Questions

  • If my dog stays overnight are we also charged for the daycare rate?

No, our rate for overnight service includes the daycare rate in the pricing. However, you will notice a late pick-up fee after 3:00 to cover our costs for your pet(s) to stay with us a little longer.

  • What do we need to bring for overnight stays?

Food is the only priority, as we don't like to change your dog's diet.

You can bring a bed/blanket if you choose but we have great beds here for your dog to sleep on.

You can leave your bowls at home, unless you need your dog uses a slow-feed which we would be happy to accommodate.

Toys are best to leave at home as some of our other dogs will want to share these with themselves.

  • Do you accept unaltered dogs?

We do have restrictions with unaltered dogs.

For females, we are not able to accept them after they have had thier 1st heat cycle, which is typically around 9 months. Unfortunatley once they start thier cycles it can become problematic for the female and will naturally create safty concerns in our pack.

For males, we will accept up until 14 months, however their acceptance in the pack, depends on each dog. Typically around 9 months thier demeanour will change or the acceptance of the unalterd males will change from the other males, causing safety issues.

Many of our puppies start with us around 4 to 6 months and we establish a good routine with them up until they are able to safely be in our pack. Once they have been spayed or neutered we welcome them back to our facility.

  • Do you separate dogs by size?

We do aim to socialize all dogs together. You will see all sizes and breeds here. The goal is that all dogs are confident in the pack.

  • Do you offer tours of your facility?

Yes! We love to meet you and your dog, prior to them staying with us. This is a great way to show you around our faciliy and ensure your pet is comfortable with us.

Please contact us and we will arrange a time with you.

  • Do you require a weekly/monthly drop off commitment?

Not at all. We know life needs flexibility and we are pleased to offer that to you.

However, our facility is at capacity and we are limited in our ability to take on new customers at this time.
